Intermedia Connects to ModernBill

July 23, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Private label Microsoft Exchange hosting provider Intermedia (intermedia.net) and Web hosting industry billing solution ModernBill (modernbill.com) announced on Monday that they have partnered to make it easy for resellers to provide, and bill for, hosted Exchange email.

Web hosts, and other service providers, using ModernBill will be able to offer private label Exchange 2007 and SharePoint hosting under their own brands, managed by Intermedia, and can be set up in as little as five minutes. ModernBill says it already makes it easy for Web hosts to bill for Ensim, Plesk, cPanel and Helm-based services. The new deal will help hosts to more easily incorporate Exachange and SharePoint hosting using the same ModernBill system.

Intermedia says its private label Exchange and SharePoint offering works as a good new source of recurring revenue for both Windows and Unix hosts, with hosted Exchange services growing at more than 39 percent annually, according to Microsoft.
