IDC Expands into telx Facility

November 29, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Network meet-me interconnection facilities provider telx (telx.com) announced on Thursday that IT infrastructure solutions provider IDC Global Networks (idcglobal.net) has taken space in telx's facility at 350 East Cermak Road in Chicago, Illinois.

IDC Global has recognized that telx's Meet Me Room Facility is a strategic partnership, says telx, which will provide IDC Global and its colocation customers access to an expanded array of best of breed global network service providers and financial market data sources.

"IDC Global is an ideal solution provider for the telx Meet Me Room facilities," says Tesh Durvasula, chief marketing and business development officer for telx. "Not only can IDC's colocation customers use IDC's network to gain access to global network operators in our Meet Me Room, but our customers can now cross connect to IDC Global's metro network and benefit from their carrier neutral, wide area networking solutions and access to global financial market data."

Telx says that it will be holding a customer event with IDC Global in February 2008.

Last month, telx added dark fiber network infrastructure provider FiberLight to its Miami Meet Me Room located at 36 North East 2nd Street in Miami, Florida.
