HostingCon Blog: On the road

So, here I am, sat in the passenger seat of the car on the highway while Paul (the_pm) drives. We should be in Chicago in 60 minutes. I can’t wait!

I flew in from England on Thursday (eight hour flight with a broken in-flight entertainment system!) and since then we’ve had a blast. I found out Paul can cook a mean grilled pizza, and I remembered that jet lag sucks! But, here we are. The time when thousands of Web hosting industry professionals get together has finally arrived. It’s my first HostingCon, so I’m not entirely sure what to expect. I guess the next three days will reveal all.

Oh, 15 minutes down the road, we saw a five mile queue of traffic on the other side. It was funny for us, but *ouch!*

For your information, my blog posts are going to only get better from here. Frankly, it’s hard to come up with a decent post when you’re flying down a highway at the_pm speeds. It sure is cool though!

I’ll be at the WHT Lounge booth for most of the convention. Feel free to come stop by and chat with a Brit. :-)

That’s all for now. See ya very soon!
