HostingCon Blog: Mmmm…Twitter goodness

There’s been a lot of talk about Web 2.0 messaging darling Twitter, and I won’t get too much into it (though you can here, here or here). On the tech trade show circuit, it is becoming the perfect backchannel for conference goers, and it can provide instant feedback of what people are thinking and doing while in attendance. At HostingCon this year, organizers are going to place monitors throughout the conference where you can keep up with the Twitter feed (presumably by displaying an app like TwitterCamp).

If you’re a Twitter-friend of HostingCon, your tweets should show up with other folks at the show on the big screens around the Navy Pier venue. I’m sure people will find this incredibly cool, or incredibly annoying. It probably depends on what kind of person you are. ;)

The HostingCon Twitter feed is displayed here on the blog in (just about) real-time. You can keep up with the conversation there (or via its RSS even).

(Psst…also feel free to add WHT, iNET or even me, to your Twitter, if you like.)
