The move comes as a result of the recent announcement of an exclusive agreement with Softlayer Technologies, which saw the two companies form a long-term mutually beneficial partnership. The third datacenter is located just 7 miles from Dulles International Airport in a facility designed to full Tier IV standards. It features multiple redundant power connections in addition to the three 2-megawatt generators and eight, fully redundant, 750 kVA UPS systems.

The completion of the third datacenter was also accompanied by a new addition to the company's Geographically Clustered Service, specifically targeted toward the company's large reseller hosting client base. The expanded cluster also introduces geographically diverse DNS, mail, and database servers to accompany the company's Windows and Linux file servers. The introduction of the Geographically Clustered Services, and the recently announced partnership with Softlayer Technologies, has seen a dramatic increase in sales for the company.
