Hosted VoipNow, for PBX Services, Premieres at Rack-Soft
Wilmington, Delaware - (The Hosting News) - July 21, 2008 - Server management and data center administration facilitator, Rack-Soft, has released its 4PSA VoipNow Hosted solution, designed to target the SMB market and small Internet service providers.
The new service allows customers to take advantage of VoIP benefits, such as integration with business software applications, lower costs, and increased mobility, without having to bother about hardware equipment or platform management to sustain the application. 4PSA VoipNow employs SaaS (Software as a Service) distribution model, providing clients with both the application and the infrastructure required to run it.
The service is provisioned immediately after order approval and requires no additional investment beside a monthly fee. Customers can handle administrative tasks such as selecting the preferred SIP provider, configuring telephone extensions, call management, Call Centers administration, conferences, or voice mail through the web interface offered by 4PSA VoipNow Professional.
Bogdan Carstoiu, General Manager at Rack-Soft noted, ''For over five years, Rack-Soft software solutions have been used by hosting and Internet Service Providers to deliver services to end users. There are multiple reasons behind the launch of VoipNow Hosted. First, we offer a business model to hosting providers that goes beyond the available marketing resources. Secondly, we try to determine more SMB to embrace hosted PBX, even if their providers are not yet delivering unified communication and last, but not least, we are helping small providers to benefit from business opportunities before investing in infrastructure and know-how.''
4PSA VoipNow Hosted is available in several versions based on the number of extensions supported, storage space, and Whitebox licensing features. Monthly fees start from US $99 for a package that includes support for up to 100 extensions and 20 GB storage space on the server.
Earlier this month, Rack-Soft released the general availability of a free connection module between its hosted PBX server software 4PSA VoipNow and Paralells Plesk. By incorporating industry's leading control panel, the new software delivers a unified communication platform, By integrating Parallels Plesk with 4PSA VoipNow under a single administration interface, the user management is automated and the provisioning of voice and video communications in hosted environments is greatly simplified.
VoipNow Plesk Module replicates effortlessly existing Plesk accounts into VoipNow with only a click of a button or links Plesk users with existing VoipNow accounts for centralized management. Plesk users with VoipNow accounts can work with hosting and VoIP from the same interface. When VoIP functionality is added to a Plesk account, the user will have delivered voicemail and faxes directly into his email box.
