Hosted Data Center Facilities Given Network Upgrades, SoftLayer
Dallas, Texas – (The Hosting News) – April 21, 2009 – On-demand IT services provider, SoftLayer Technologies, has upgraded its network with more robust bandwidth connections and new features.
The upgrades include a new 10G peering connection with Telefonica in Dallas that improves performance for South American customers connecting to all three SoftLayer data centers.
Ric Moseley, Vice President of Engineering for SoftLayer explained, ”Our public and private networks are key assets to customers. By continuously augmenting our network’s capabilities, we ensure customers have the fast, reliable connectivity they expect from us.”
SoftLayer also added enhanced network monitoring tools with bandwidth monitoring and free inbound bandwidth.
