Data Center Web Hosting Firm, 365 Main, to Preside Over Event Virtual Tour
San Francisco, California – (The Hosting News) – October 11, 2007 – Data center developer and operator, 365 Main, will provide a virtual tour of the Arizona data center, at the 7×24 Exchange International Fall Conference.
365 Main has been selected for the second consecutive year to provide a virtual data center tour at the 7×24 Exchange International annual fall conference. Jean Paul Balajadia, Senior Vice President and Founding Partner at 365 Main, will lead the virtual tour of the company’s Chandler, Ariz. facility at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, October 29.
This year’s conference, entitled End-to-End Reliability: Mission-Critical Systems, will take place October 28-31 in Grapevine, Texas. It is designed for anyone involved with around-the-clock infrastructures, including IT, datacenter, disaster recovery and network/telecommunications managers, supervisors and engineers. Vendors, consultants and those concerned with uninterrupted access to critical information are also expected to attend.
The event’s organizers hope to increase the reliability and availability of enterprise information infrastructure by presenting case studies, new ideas, techniques and tools. Open dialogue between attendees and presenters is encouraged throughout the conference. Video tour 365 Main’s 315,000-square-foot Chandler, Ariz. facility opened in 2006 and is expected to be fully leased by the end of this year.
The 45-minute video tour will provide an overview of how the building was constructed and how the data center operates, as well as a detailed look at: * Challenges faced during construction * How 365 Main increased the power density to 150 watts per square foot, more than twice the original design * Electrical and mechanical systems * Contingency plans and emergency procedures * Quality controls including auditing and monitoring of security, cooling and power systems * Energy-efficient best practices Last year’s conference featured a similar tour of 365′s Main’s flagship 227,000-square-foot data center in San Francisco. More than 500 people attended.
