Colocation Provider, GNAX/AtlantaNAP, Expands Contract with Emory University
Atlanta, Georgia – (The Hosting News) – March 20, 2009 – Emory University has expanded its contract with AtlantaNAP, to provide backup services for the university and hospital systems, by leasing and taking possession of another 1000 square feet of space in the Atlanta NAP facility.
Emory will continue to provide real time backup of their data to the servers in the Atlanta NAP co-location facility.

AtlantaNAP is a premier Atlanta co-location facility implemented by Global Net Access, LLC, and located in the historic West End of Atlanta. AtlantaNAP completed the first expansion of their new Enterprise Data Center in May 2008, adding 12,500 additional square feet of cage colocation, cabinet colocation and rack colocation space. Emory University was the first client to reside in the new Data Center with cage co-location space and fully redundant power feeds. A second expansion of the Atlanta NAP Enterprise Data Center, due to be completed on April 1, will provide an additional 13,500 square feet of raised floor space.
