AT&T Hosting Services, Selected by Real Estate Website, Zillow.com

Seattle, Washington – (The Hosting News) – October 16, 2007 – AT and T Inc., has entered into an Enterprise Hosting Services contract, with real estate web site providing tools and information about 70 million U.S. homes to consumers, Zillow.com.

Under the terms of the new contract, AT and T will serve as the primary network provider to Zillow.com and will support the real estate company’s growing activity and data needs with AT and T Enterprise Hosting Services. AT and T will also provide additional bandwidth and services.

In recent months, Zillow.com has introduced significant upgrades resulting in increased consumer interaction. As a result of this increased interaction, the company’s applications must be accessible at all times to millions of simultaneous users in a low-latency and highly reliable environment.

David Beitel, Chief Technology Officer at Zillow remarked, ”As Zillow grows, we must be confident that we have hosting capabilities in place to provide reliable services to our customers. AT and T brings demonstrated experience with large, transactional-based, highly scalable customers; strong security policies; and consultative expertise from a responsive, proactive team. We’re confident in AT and T’s ability to meet our network hosting needs.”

AT and T Enterprise Hosting Services are supported through AT and T’s Internet Data Centers and provide multiple levels of monitoring and management, including global load balancing, managed security and storage services.

Zillow.com is an online real estate community where homeowners, buyers, sellers, and real estate agents and professionals find and share vital information about homes, for free. Launched in early 2006 with Zestimate values and data on millions of U.S. homes, Zillow has since opened the site to community input, data and dialogue, including ”Home Q and A.” Zillow is one of the most-visited real estate web sites, and was the only online company named by Advertising Age magazine to its 2006 ”Marketing 50” list of the most powerful consumer brands. Zillow is headquartered in Seattle and has raised $87 million in funding.

Earlier this year, AT and T instituted new global features for its Enterprise Hosting Services, designed to provide more choices in the way customers monitor and manage hosting environments. Additionally, AT and T announced an expansion of its supported certified library for products from hardware and software vendors.

AT and T also enhanced its BusinessDirect customer portal with new capabilities for generating a wider selection of interactive reports across an infrastructure’s network, server and Web component layers. Customers can use the reporting feature to obtain performance statistics on network and server components and easily compare information from multiple sources for better capacity planning choices. In addition to having access to more than a year of archived and near real-time reports on CPU utilization, free memory, and available disk space, clients can choose to subscribe to premium features that include the ability to create customized reports, integrate data from multiple sources in the same query and schedule email alerts.

AT and T continues to offer Hosting customers access to an extensive library of the latest hardware, operating systems, and application software from vendors such as IBM, Red Hat, Veritas, Microsoft, BEA, Sun, Dell and HP. Recently, AT and T added AIX to its certified library and upgraded its server virtualization platform to VMware 3.0.

AT and T Inc. (NYSE:T) is a communications holding company. Its subsidiaries and affiliates, AT and T operating companies, are the providers of AT and T services in the United States and around the world.
