Apollo Web Hosting, Enhances Linux Based Website Hosting Plan Resources
Austin, Texas - (The Hosting News) - July 2, 2007 - Web hosting provider, Apollo Hosting, has enhanced its resource offerings on shared web site hosting plans, including a comprehensive Linux-based upgrade, reportedly the most significant advancement in the company's history, credited by the recent migration of customers from an aging legacy platform.
The upgrades cover core resources, storage space, transfer, multiple domains, and email accounts. These features are the standards by which most shared hosting plans are valued, and Apollo's upgrades make their plans a highly competitive choice in today's crowded hosting market. At a minimum the upgrades represent a five-fold increase, and in most cases, a great deal more. All these upgrades come at no additional cost to customers both old and new.
Tamara Field, President of Apollo Hosting remarked, ''Our legacy hosting system was really holding us back, but a migration of such scope wasn't something to be taken lightly. We planned and prepared meticulously for the big move, and everything came together wonderfully. Though nothing of that scope is completely without complication, our skilled techs managed to complete the migration with no widespread downtime to our customers.''
Don McLeman, V.P. of Operations at Apollo Hosting offered, ''The resource upgrades are a 'thank you' to our loyal customers who stuck it out on older plans while we got this upgrade completed. We now have a lot more flexibility in what we can offer to our customers, as we aren't held back by the limitations of our older platform.''
All current Apollo Hosting customers on Linux shared hosting plans received the upgraded resources, and the upgraded plans are available for sign-up at apollohosting.com. Ms. Field added, ''We are working on upgrades to our Windows Shared plans and our Virtual Private Server hosting plans as well, so stay tuned for further announcements.''
