AIT Offers Gaming Servers
February 8, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Advanced Internet Technologies (ait.com) announced on Friday that it is offering $100 per month savings off of its enterprise hosting solutions in an effort to leverage the game hosting market. With AIT's new class of game servers, gamers, gaming administrators and entrepreneurs can take the next step to growing their business without the worry of outgrowing their server and also have complete control over their dedicated resources, says the company.
Standard features include no setup fees, disk space, dual 3.2GHz core processors, up to 16GB of memory and over 100 free tools including clan management, a collaboration suite, e-commerce suite and a control panel to manage AIT's gaming solutions.
AIT is also offering Meeting Bowl, a new collaboration application that enables gamers to host and attend online strategy sessions, meetings, seminars, or training classes and deliver live or recorded presentations with both audio and video.
"With a dedicated server, you have the freedom to install multiple games on your server," says John Horton, VP of sales and marketing at AIT. "The administration of the game servers is up to our clients who have complete control from installing and configuring game MODs to downloading game server executables. You can install any operating system you like, host as many games as you want, and even host your own websites."
Earlier this week, AIT began offering permanent savings on its new line of VPS and enterprise servers.
