December 4, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center developer and operator 365 Main (365main.com) announced on Tuesday that it will be joining IBM on a panel discussion at the first annual Hollywood Goes Green (hollywoodgoesgreen.com) conference. The event will take place from December 11 to 12 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, California.
365 Main's VP of marketing and strategy Miles Kelly, along with Derek Wise, president and CEO of Global Netoptex, a 365 Main customer, will participate in an IBM-sponsored roundtable discussion of innovative technology solutions for green data centers. The 50-minute session, called "IBM Project Big Green Panel Discussion," will take place on December 11 at 2:15 p.m. PST and will also include representatives from AISO, Technicolor and Threshold Animation Studios.
"At 365 Main we've made a broad commitment to energy efficiency, so we're extremely honored to participate in this groundbreaking event," says Kelly. "We're looking forward to a productive discussion about environmentally responsible data center development."
365 Main says the Hollywood Goes Green conference will address environmental issues in entertainment and related industries, including Hollywood's role in reducing global warming.
The company was recently selected for the second consecutive year to provide a virtual data center tour at the 7x24 Exchange International annual fall conference.
