One of the main features of San Diego as a city is picturesque San Diego Bay, and the centerpiece of San Diego Bay is the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina. The San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina is a premier hotel, and official hotel of HostingCon Global 2015.

It features 1360 guest rooms, a 446 slip marina, and an environment carefully designed to facilitate resort-style relaxation, and transition to and from fast-paced learning and networking. The Marriott Marquis & Marina is adjacent to the San Diego Convention Center where HostingCon takes place.

The three restaurants, Starbucks, full service spa, two pools, and a new 24 hour fitness center with yoga and kickboxing will help with any necessary winding up or down, and a Hertz on the property will make getting around San Diego easy. Getting to and from the hotel will also is easy as it is roughly a fifteen dollar cab ride from San Diego International Airport and less than a mile from both the Amtrak and Greyhound Stations.

The Marriot is a few minutes’ walk from the Gaslamp Quarter, where there just might be a few after-hours continuations of networking. The Gaslamp Quarter and the whole famous Old Town is, along with the Bay, one of the defining and most enjoyable features of downtown San Diego, and will be detailed further here soon. It is also conveniently near to Seaport Village, Balboa Park, and the San Diego Zoo.

HostingCon attendees receive a special HostingCon Rate of Only $229 per night under the group “HostingCon.”

Just like HostingCon, room at the hotel is not guaranteed, so consider booking your stay right after you register for the conference, if you haven’t already done so.
