(The Hosting News) – Popular cloud storage provider Dropbox on Wednesday announced its intent to release a Single sign-on platform for businesses.

“SSO works behind the scenes to let users sign in just once to a central identity provider, like Active Directory, and securely access all their business apps, like Dropbox. With SSO, companies can put their existing trusted identity provider in charge of the authentication process,” explained the provider via its blog.

The move arrives after the company unveiled a new admin panel in February.

To make the feature possible, Dropbox partnered with a number of providers including OneLogin, Centrify, Symplified, Ping Identity and Okta.
