I was in the grocery store and noticed that Planters has come out with what may be the most painful sounding snack food ever produced. They're called "Nut Poppers".

Ouch!

Anyone else know of any other unfortunately named products? And don't mention the "Sofa King"...

The "crushed nuts" on the MacDonalds hot fudge sundae always make me a little uncomfortable.

And then there's always this.

Seat Malaga never made it in Greece - because of the similarity of Malaga to the word "malakas" :D for reference see http://malakas.org

How about the energy drink called "Sum Poosie".

Yeah, I think I'd have to kick my husband if he ever said "Hun, I'm gonna run out and get Sum Poosie. You want some???"

What was that canned pasta, Spaghettios™ or something similar where when you turned the can upside down, it would appear to have genitalia hanging from the trees. I remember it as the great canned pasta scandel of '94. People were shocked. :)

While at Albertson's at lunch the other day, perusing their snack food isles for Office Snacks(tm), I came across these and figured I'd try them out. Yeah... They taste about as good as they sound.

There's the old classic example of the Chevy Nova. In Spanish, "no va" means "no go." And they wondered why the car didn't do well in Spanish speaking countries :D

I think I have one that beats all.

My niece just had her birthday part about a week and a half ago, and her, her little cousins, and little friends played a game called "Bust The Nut " And it was a bean bag like model of a cartoon who looked like a clown, aka A Foolish Nut, and you had to bust him open for candy. I never thought about the name until now haha
