I received a promotional email from this company. Domain registration or transfer for only 1.95.

I think it is a gimmick, you have to host with them for an additional of 14.95 for their email and web hosting.

Any comments?

I'll give you odds that they are the registrant on any domain you regisiter through them. For one thing, there are registering at a loss. NSI gets $6 for every .com. .net and .org so $1.95 a year represents at least a $4.05 loss per domain per year.

For another, they require you host your site with them. That's how they make their profit and make up the loss on the domain registration.

Gimmicks? The site is full of them.
