I downloaded a 100MB avi file off Imesh. It took sometime but I was hoping the movie is worthwhile.
I tried to play but I got an error.

'Video Not available. Can not find 'Vids:div4' decompressor'

Hmm, what am I missing here? I guess I need to download something to update my player but which one and where?

what you have downloaded is a dvd rip :) what you need is a divx plugin.... this one is very widely used, http://divx.ctw.cc

Download link leads me to 404 error. so I visited his project site(or whatever). I took sometime exploring the site. My one question still remained mystery, where is the download link? I see pretty words for what he has done but no download link?

In the box on the right side of that page, look for "Release" and choose either DivX for Windows or for Mac. The download links are near the bottom of each of those pages.

Anway, I installed it and attempted to run the movie file. But still same error. any idea?
