Here's another area I'd like some feedback.

I've got bind 8.2.3 installed and working properly. I set the 2 ip's that are allowed to transfer from that box.

What steps should I take to secure bind fully?

Firstly... !

BIG mistake running BIND 8.2.3 ... you need to update to BIND 9.1 ASAP... some MAJOR security issues w/ 8.x BIND.

Have a look at www.wiretapped.net for info about the BIND exploits and patches. We keep it well updated on that sort of thing.
