Hi there,
does anyone have experience with the Amazon RDS database servers?
http://aws.amazon.com/rds/
We have run them for a while, and they almost seem to be too good to be true, especially when distributed across multiple data centers.
So far we have had no problems whatsoever.
However has anyone experienced problems with these servers?
We are in the process of moving some more critical services on them, as they seem to be the most bomb proof solution we have found so far.
Would hate to find out there are know problems with them we missed.
Please only answer if you have experience with them - this is not about the pros and cons of the cloud - we have made that decision for us already - but about the best way to run a HA database at Amazon.
