I've looked at the FAQ and don't see the answer. How often are we allowed to post ads here? Can we post more if they are all different?

I think the general consensus was:

it would be too much effort for the moderators to have to monitor this forum to watch number of posts etc, and hosts that decide to post excessive amounts of ads at one time look like the el33t h/\xers they are :D.

Allan is pretty much correct.

As yet there are no rules governing the Advertising forum but we've had to crack down on hosts breaking Netiquette and basically being darn rude, boasting 'My offer's better than yours', bumping ads only a day after the ad was posted, et. al.

You are welcome to post different ads on the same day, and as often as you think is required. Just don't go overboard and post every day ;) (I notice that most hosts post an ad every 4 or 5 days...)

how about bumping the old post. Is it ok if we bump the old post after 4/5 days instead of posting similar new one.

m6, I think the answer to that is "go ahead, if you want to". Personally I think it looks a little bizzare to have an advert with ten "bump"s underneath it. It makes you look like you're a monster in the closet or something.

Advice from moderator's point of view : if you decide to bump a thread you should have a darn good reason for it (and no, just trying to get it back to the top doesn't count; you have to have a good valid reason); otherwise the mods will throw it without warning... It's all about applying common sense.

I am glad that I took right decision, which was not to bump the message without any reason.
