Does the Unlimited Pop3 in the "Plus500" Package from Wizardshosting.com mean I can give all my members @yourname.com emails?
Or is there something in the ToC or Policy that doesn't allow that?
Hi lowblow
You could probably get an answer by posting that question at WizardsHosting's forum http://www.whforums.com

hey lowblow,
if you are interested in offering @yourdomain.com addresses without worrying about ToC and etc... why not give the following URLs a look:
http://www.everyone.net (Plug-In Email)
http://www.bigmailbox.com
both of these free services allow you to offer your site members free @yourdomain.com email addresses and they can access their email through your web site...
...
also, i think just as long as you don't use the emails provided by wizardshosting as a tool to SPAM... i think they allow you to have unlimited pop3s
carlos will be here an at whforums.com to answer your question regarding this :)

Hi Lowblow,
As a general rule, hosts do not allow you to give out the POP3 mailboxes to your customers in that mannor.. it is usually meant that if you have a big company and a lot of employees it is fine to give them all an email address at the company site.
When you give it away to your site users, it does something to the server... slows things down.
email is an addition to the hosting, and if over used the sites will slow down.
I know we will set up peoples zone files at no fee to have them use a service like everyone.net or bigmailbox for giving out free email. That keeps our servers for hosting sites.
The point I am trying to make is, that if you enjoy your web site loading fast for your customers, then you should look into using one of these services that are made for giving away all the free email accounts you want. It helps you , your host, and keeps things going smooth.
Have a good day,
Tim L

Actually, that was meant for your staff or company personell, not to give out to 3rd parties .. also, you have to rember, the MAILBOX shares it's space with your account.
A good solution is (as people already mentioned here) is services like bigmailbox or everyone.net
but please contact us ans we can dicuss it further

As a general rule (for everyone here), I'd say not to give an email account to *anyone* that you do not know, off your hosting account as eventually (and sooner than you'd like it), they *will* use it for spam and your entire account will be terminated. No access, no getting files off the server, no second chances. Just my opinion, but...
