There is probably only one thing I think I would recommend over my dead body and that is the great service that Matt @ www.EISHOST.com offers.

Some 4 months ago, I shifted my in-house hosting facilities over to a dedicated box hosted all the way across the Atlantic with with Everyday Internet Solutions. And I am glad to say I am totally happy with the decision.

I spent a lot of time reviewing the various options, from service offerings to control panels @ a wide range of providers, and I, along with my colleagues belaboured our decision, taking the best part of a month to make it. Much of the reason we eventually plumped for EIS was the fact that 100% of the customers of theirs we contacted had been entirely happy with the service they were receiving from the company and in fact one was so satisfied that she was particularly persistant in ensuring we did take a server with them.

Since taking the Pentium III, 1.3ghz machine we have had zero down time. Of course the datacenter has its small share of problems but these are dealt with in an extremely quick and efficent manner, and Matt is always good to keep us uptodate. Aside from being an informed Mac OS X user, Matt is extremely flexible and knowledgeable about the control panels he provides and he is always on the look out for new bells and whistles he can improve the service he provides to his clients.

Given the nightmare experience one friend of mine had at rackshack, when they insisted he was using 20gb a day, when he had no sites hosted yet, until they admitted his machine was plugged in the wrong port!!, and countless other stories of bad service, at noctser and eservers etc etc .... I continue to recommend EIS to all the people who come to me asking about dedicated server services.

What Matt offers is second to none and I am very glad to be the proud recipient of such great service provision. As well as my state-side clients who have lightning speed access tot heir web sites!!!

Thanks for the great service Matt and may all the EIS customers join me in raising our champagne flutes to another bumper year.

Whats your website? You registered just to post the review? Sorry if I sound like I am being a pain or trying to start trouble, but it just seems strange and sounds fishy. However, if you are a happy customer, I hope EIS continues to please you.

He has an address in his Home button.

Welcome to the madness, Vince. Just a word of advice; quick change into your flame retardant underwear.

hmmm . .. . . .

make that outerwear.

Hi there-

I had to reregister because i forgot my password and my account was registered to a mac.com account that is now terminated. I spend a lot of time viewing WHT but not actually posting on WHT. More over I am not doing this for my own self-publicity, but I can be found at www.dc43.com.

Do a whois is on the domain and you will see it is registered to me all the way across the Atlantic. I understand that people might have reservations, but I use WHT more as a resource than as a means for flaming people.

Feel free to email me below if you want to ask me more.

Many thanks

By the way....

I forgot to invite you to take out a new server @ any of those companies i mentioned....

Please be my guest. I am merely recommending EIS not ordering you to take out services with them.

In fact I would also recommend www.venturesonline.com but then I dont have any actual experience with that company to tell you what they are like, they were simply my second possible choice as a host for dedicated services.

Further to my earlier glowing report on EIS. I have yet again been proven to have made the right choice!! I ordered on Tuesday an 80GB Second HD for my server to use for Daily, Weekly and Monthly Backups and Remote Backups from secondary and tertiary Servers. It took 24 hours for the drive to be put in. A quick formatting of the device and fstab editing later and it was in business. The speedy nature of implementation and support has to be one of the best things about EIS. If you dont want to hang around then they are definitely a GREAT choice!!!

5****'s to Matt and Co.

Matt and his Co. do have a fair good website. vinc_dc43, how can you find them? I haven't known their names appeared in WHT.
