Hi,
Anyone receive their remote reboot ports from dedicatednow yet? We've been waiting for a month now and everytime I contacted Matt, he gave a date and then when I contacted him when it was past the date promised, he said there was a delay and gave a new date. Its been like this for about 3 times now. On the last occasion, I did not receive a reply.
Does anyone know whats happening?
Thanks! :)
When I asked, I was told they would be made available near the end of December. Hopefully we will see them sometime before or just after the new year.

There's a web panel you log into and you can restart your server or set it to restart at a later time.

www.apcc.com go to the PDU (power distribution section), and then check the ap9211's. These are the most common types of "remote reboot" and are simply a glorified power bar with snmp/telnet/www control and an rj45 jack, whose sockets power up and down on demand, quite handy, excessively overpriced and difficult to obtain currently though :(.

How many boxes can you attach to a 9211?

apc ap9211 has 8 ports, 1 rj45, and a serial console, nice little units, its too bad their list prices are so absurd though ($600/ea or more, i hear wholesalers get a *far* better price).

Just checked it out. Looks cool and pricing comes out to about $350 / 8, so approximately $45 per customer port.
