To go along with my previous message, It may be obvious that I use PerlDesk. BUT, I am always looking the latest and greatest and as well as trying to avoid the worst.
I would appreciate knowing, in the members of WHT humble eyes, which online Support System is the best.

I think PerlDesk is pretty good especially for a free product. The new version (currently in PerlBill 2) has several excellent new features too :)

Request Tracker (RT) packs a pretty powerful punch for a free system: http://www.bestpractical.com/rt/
For commercial grade, I'd say Remedy is the best with Kana being a better pure email call center/CRM tool.

I like both Request Tracker and Perl Desk, though I favor Perl Desk.

phpsupportdesk, Perldesk corrupted itself one day so we decided to use something new. I wonder when they are going to release a new version though :confused:

They probably won't release a new version... afaik the new version (2.0) is included in PerlBill though.
The idea is to put something free out ther to entice people... when it becomes the best and most used you offer a payed version and phase the free version out.
Everyone's got to make a living you know :)
