A totally awesome 24K gold watch.

I'm a nice dress watch guy. I've always owned nice watches, but this far surpasses them all.. It's an Elgin.. love it.

Also got a nice leather jacket. .. And some other little junk here and there. I was hoping for a 17 or 19 inch flatpanel monitor... but it didn't happen :(

Bushmaster is pretty nice. I got my dad a Mossburg (SP?) which is an OK shotgun manufacture. And a sling, went out "skeeting" I gusss is what they call it fun as hell.

Yah, shotguns are pretty fun, but I just like the thrill of an assault riffle :). I own two myself, plus a few shotguns and hunting rifles and whatnot. The muzzle break on the XM15 is amazing... tons less kick than my M17S Bullpup

Hi

I got a Casio Electronic Keyboard for Christmas. It has 100 presets, 100 rythms, on-screen computerized display, MIDI interface and all kinds of other gadgetry. I looked it up on the Circuit City website and it got the highest rating for quality of sound and other things. I love it and it gives me an excuse to get away from this dang computer once in awhile...ahhh:D

Best gift for me was being able to visit with family and friends, something that doesn't happen very often. Second best was a new cordless mouse.

I got a new system (2.4Ghz, 533 FSB, 80 GB, 1 GB RDRAM) and a new wireless/wired router from Linksys. My connection jumped from (at it's best) 1.5 Megabits per second to 2.5 (consistent). Couldn't ask for a better gift...

TheDoctor

Thank you for that. I have actually heard of hockey. Don't ever recall ever watching it though. Now if you were talking about a really entertaining sport ... Australian rules football .. then that would be a different matter.

Does hockey have cheerleaders ? .. like with American football or baseball or what ever it is that has cheerleaders.

Each year I keep asking Santa Claus for my very own cheer leader but alas it hasn't happened yet. I would even settle for one of those waitress's at hooters.

No there are no cheerleaders. Hockey is played on ice (Hence Canada's dominance :D) in a skating rink. A small round puck is the equivalent of a ball and it slides along the ice.
Hockey has some brutal body checks, and fights. It's the most popular sport in the Winter olympics and it's popularity in Canada is the equivalent of football (soccer) in Europe.

It's the fastest game on earth!

Hang on a minute .. I admit I know next to nothing about hockey however I just looked up a couple of sites and found they do play "Hockey" in Australia. In fact I seem to remember one of my wifes .. first one I think ... playing hockey. Not on ice but on grass.

So am I right assuming that your talking about "Ice Hockey" as opposed to "Hockey" Also isn't there a similiar game played on horse back, and another in water.

Yes, shoulda been clearer - In Canada when you talk hockey its automatically assumed Ice hockey ;)

In fact Australians are known for their Grass Hockey skill. :)

I got a toaster. That's it. But hey...it's a four-slice toaster! (Perfect for the slightly underweight single man living alone). This is it for celebrating Christmas for me.

Ahh! I bought one of these for my girlfriend but we ended up taking it back as it seemed to be a bit flaky. The software recognized 128 MB of space, but only 64 was usable. Transferring music was a bit dodgy too. How do you like it?
