I have been researching via the net and through webhostingtalk.com becoming a reseller. I pretty much have decided to become a reseller with oneworldhosting.com and use the instabill.com payment services. I was looking at VDI related reseller packages but I have first-hand experience with their problems right now and can't wait to move on.

I'd like to get feedback from the experienced resellers out there regarding my choices before I completely jump into this endeavor.

I plan to stay middle of the road regarding prices for my packages (stay with oneworldhosting's prices).

Is anyone a reseller for oneworldhosting.com? They seem well organized and have a nice support package for customers.

And is instabill's track record good? Have they ever been hacked and compromised cc #s? If they ever were hacked, would I be held responsible or would it be entirely their problem?

And what can a person expect as far as getting new clients per month? For advertising I'd post to all the host review sites and maybe run some local ads. Conservative estimates? Your experiences?

Your expert comments / thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Kevin Schmidt

Overall they seem like they have decent plans.

They either are a reseller or have a server at Alabanza.

Which is ok.

As president of a hosting company we dont use instabill as we have are own credit card machine and system.

In regards to Alabanza we started there, and well there a good place to start.

In regards to new clients we have been live for 6 months and have about 280. It really depends on support levels and what ninche you want to be in. We have out grown alabanza, so we dont use them anymore. We have are own ninche as many other do.

Id recommend for advertising get listed in all the directories, and if you get 10 clients a month to start out, thats not bad. Actually if you get 1 new client thats not bad either.

Just make sure your support is good and you take care of your clients. Remember they pay the bills, so make sure there taken care of. Good Support will return your investment and then some.
