hello all,
i've bought my first windows server because i need 100mb unmetered, and i got it for cheap price but the problem i'm not figuring it out. i followed this tutorial but i really don't know what to do next,

any help please, what should i do next, i want to map my domain on the ip but i don't know how to do that

are you trying to set up the server to host a domain right? I am not usre but i think you took the wrong tutorial

i need some one to guide me,
i don't know if that is the way friend, its not mention how to add domain like www.domain.com and name servers and the other things like we do in linux server, is there any complete tutorial for newbies?

if you are not much in to the server, i would recommend you to try with a free panel like dotnet panel which will make your domain set up easier.

DotNetPanel is somewhat outdated. This control panel has been renamed as WebsitePanel, which you can download from http://www.websitepanel.net/ You may get the latest installation guide from this site as well.

i've installed it but when i open the ip it says not authorized, check by ur self

what do u think could be the reason, isn't suppose to read from a folder or not??

Websitepanel application pools (portal,Server,ES)is running under a local account or WSP default users(portal,server,ES) identity.

If you are new to windows then I would you suggest to hire some experience person on this forum to fix your installation.

I would help you if you had Plesk control panel installed in your machine. With Plesk those tasks are very easy to setup.
