ok, this is a mildy or possibly even highly retarded question. I just got my first cpanel dedicated server, and it will not only be hosting my accounts but my main site. So, the server is servername.domain.com and i want the box to host domain.com Do i have to create an account for my primary domain, or is there somewhere i can upload my site information so that is shows up under domain.com. Currently, all i get is the "The SSL/TLS-aware Apache webserver was
successfully installed on this website." I have tried to locate those files, but can't. Please help. thanks

If the company you bought the server from didn't set up that domain for you then you will need to create it in the WHM.

You need to modify it with the change hostname function in WHM -just above 'reseller center'. Write 'servername.domain.com' in the field and it should work fine.

I created myprimarydomain.com, added reseller privileges to it, and made myprimarydomain.com and ns1.myprimarydomain.com use the servers main IP. ns2.myprimarydomain.com uses the following IP. Works fine.
