Thanks Chris JTY 12-23-2002, 09:23 PM Depends... what datacenter? how loaded is the connection? how fast is the connection? mastwolf 12-23-2002, 09:32 PM its a t1 line, its about %60 loaded, they are going to get another one just got gamming. Its located in Indiana mushrew 12-23-2002, 09:34 PM a t-1 will host about 24 players maximum without any lag. at 60% utilization you're talking about 8 users or less. IGobyTerry 12-23-2002, 09:56 PM what type of game are we talking about? Some games could handle over 100 players on a T-1, but other's it may not be able to handle very many. willlangford 12-23-2002, 09:58 PM You might want to look into Digital.Forest (http://www.forest.net). I just have a web server, but thier network is good. They can push more than most datacenters anywere. 2.54gbits. Each server has 50meg burstable too. ~Will EDIT -- i though they were sprint, but thier main line is verizon |
