Who do you recommend for PAID E-mail Hosting aside from Yahoo Business E-mail and Google Apps? Thanks

I recommend Rackspace Email (formerly Mailtrust / Webmail.us); it's reliable, has a nice web interface, and they have good support. It also has the useful ability to mix and match regular POP/IMAP accounts with Exchange accounts in the same domain.

I used SherWeb for hosted exchange about two years ago. They had a few outages, but were overall pretty good.

We used rackspace until they started to spam us other service. It'll be a matter of time until they spam you for the upsell.

If you can use a little more than just e-mail hosting take a look at Bluetie.

We'd be using them but they don't currently support DKIM. We have used them in the past with no problems.

RackSpace here. If it is a company I choose to do business with, I actually want to know what they are up to so I do not consider their emails SPAM. My clients really enjoy the benefits of rock solid reliable email without ads. Gmail and Comcast make me insane with their crap.

What can you say about their anti-virus and anti-spam feature? Is it good? I checked the site but I didn't try to inquire yet. Do they have some minimum subscription for email hosting?

Almost perfect on SPAM and so far (12 months) perfect on AV. Clients simply do not worry about that. Gmail sucks eggs. They read your emails to see what ads to show you. NO THANKS! RackSpace is AD FREE!

Minimum is I believe $10 per month for 5 accounts or something like that. But not sure so ask them.

My two cents:

1) Rackspace email is worth the cost and I think most employees will find the web interface very intuitive. I really like the daily backup/restore capability you get (in case someone goes rogue or accidentally deletes their inbox), the group aliases, etc. All very easy to use, budget friendly and professional. If you have an issue, you have excellent support.

2) I use GoogleApps for about ten customers, which are all small businesses. Customers seem very satisfied in general and some love the bonus features like Google Docs. Some think the interface is a bit weird at first but they've gotten used to it. I also feel a bit "disconnected" from the provider and if there was an outage I'm not sure how long it would take to resolve. Their paid service is substantially more than Rackspace and the billing model sucks (annually).

Google seems to cater to the end-user where Rackspace makes sure the IT staff has everything they need to do a competent job. GoogleApps is a GREAT free solution which I use and love but unless you're willing to pop for their premier solution I would recommend Rackspace for corporate environments.

I compared fastmail and rackspace and I think rackspace email hosting is more robust and affordable even they have a minimum of 5-mailboxes. UI seems very good as well.

I use google apps and love it. Plus the standard is free up to 50 users.

I use Google Apps for private domains, and own mailserver (some cheap VPSes connected to MX backup) for company.

Google Apps is great but the ads are a little annoying. Rackspace Apps is great and there aren't any ads.

RackSpace Email I have heard very good feedback on from colleague's who have used it.

Google Apps is very very good, I've centralized all my email which works great for me as I've got my android phone.

There's also BPOS which is relatively cheap!

What puts you off google?
