Hello everyone,
After having a bad experience with a webhosting "company" (it was the first time I paid for webhosting), I have learnt to be a bit more wary of signing up for any.

I did some scouting and reading at various forums, and so far I would like to say that the following companies interest me quite a lot:

1)hostrocket
2)wizardshosting
3)tera-byte

Initially din realise that this was a wizardshosting board (oops!), hope carlos (i hope i got it rite) dun mind if I asked for some comments from the rest of the guys. :)

I have worked with Carlos at Wizardshosting on a few issues and I can vouch for them. He really cares about his customers, and is working to expand the company quite a bit. I'd say that they are a safe bet.

I don't have any personal experience with either of the other companies mentioned.

Hope that helps.

Best Regards,

Hi Matt.
You're the boss of Site5.com? There were also several good recommendations to site5. Site5 was one of my considerations but I was looking for something of a smaller scale (around $9.95 to $13.95) heehee :)

Nevertheless thanks for your reply. Speaks a lot for wizardshosting, coming from a fellow competitor. Thks Matt!!

Does anyone else have any recommendations or advice regarding wizardshosting and hostrocket?

Hostrocket is good , i can vouch for that, but you might want to wait a week or two before you join, since they're having manpower shortage plus the VDI problems.

Tera-byte are awesome. Been a customer of theres since early last year. Very fast technical support. My last support issue was dealt with within 10 minutes that included 4 emails.

Both wizardshosting and hostrocket are on VDI, hmm.. has the problem wif VDI been resolved? Does it mean I should be hangin on to this since both are also on VDI. Anyone with hostrocket or wizardshosting having problems with their site?

Yups, I was considering tera-byte a while back but I had to drop it because din really like the package or something, cannot remember also. Now down to hostrocket and wizardshosting, but doesnt seemed to be getting much feedback here.. :(

Actually I'm not the boss of Site5.com, but rather a hard working employee. :)

If you're interested in working something out with regards to our services, drop me an email and I'll see what I can do for you.

I have heard a lot of good about Carlos with wizards. Enough to reccommend his company. He has really got things going good at wizards, and his customers talk highly of him.
