I am currently with hostbusters/host-unlimited and they have gotten horrible as of late. People keep disconnecting from my server at random. Poor custom service, so I am looking into switching
300 users should be good enough, most ever on the server was like 150
It will be a hub.
Have no clue about the bandwidth, because I get "unlimited" bandwidth from hostbusters.
Will need IRCD + at least 3 processes (One for services, one for eggdrop, and one just in case I need another process)
Linux is preferable.
Looking to pay around ~15 a month.

These guys should be ideal:

I've been using them for about 2 years for light web hosting purposes, although I have at times ran game servers on them no problem, so I'm sure IRCD would be no problem. :)

Check out Linode.com or SuperBytes.net
Both allow IRC hosting and do a great job

Servebyte.com and DMEhosting.com both allow IRC and Shoutcast on their VPS and Dedicated Servers. Depending on what your IRC requirements are i would suggest running one off of a Linux VPS. ;)

We use Linode for hosting our network. We haven't any issues and the support is great as always. We really don't need any other provider since they started offering servers in UK.
