I think those would both be pretty much the same thing.

Basically it allows you to deploy and manage a cloud service for clients. With administrative and client access to a robust set of cloud features on whatever hardware you with to use. i.e. SAN/Hypervisors/Backup Servers, etc.

OnApp works on the Xen Hypervisor as well. OnApp is the framework to control your cloud. Xen is a virtualization technology for the actual virtual (cloud) instances. i.e. the resources you work with are handled by Xen, OnApp just brings it all together. Gigenet from what I understand has their own custom control panel like OnApp.

onAPP is an application that allows you to create a 'cloud' on your own hardware in your own colocation space. Gigenet is a service that you are using their software on their 'cloud' controlling their servers.
