Hello

I used to use windows server R3, and have it on a basic PC to be accessed by employee's and others, but I stopped that.

Is there a way to turn windows 7 U. into a server, and allow others to gain access to it using different usernames and passwords, I know it has VPN with windows 7, but I'm looking for different users to have access to there own space on the system without seeing other users stuff.

Any idea's?

Thanks

Mark

Desktop's only allow 2 remote desktop sessions at one time. Or... One users sitting at the desktop and one user using remote desktop.

If you need more... then you need windows with terminal services licenses.

I see, thanks for that.

So, do you think its a good idea to again install windows server R2 PRO, and if so, will this work as before? I used to use citrix for employee's ect to access it?

a better question would be... Why did you take down the old system?

though XP / 2003 are EOL there is nothing wrong with the software and it's use.

2007/2008 (what ever you want to call it) is soon EOL. If your getting a new setup I would go with 2010.

Licensing is still the same.
