I was wondering if anyone could recommend a WAP based Email Program which I could use on my Cpanel based server.
There are times when I am away from a direct internet connection but have my GPRS/WAP Cellphone with me. I would love to be able to read and respond to my emails when I am on the move.
Thank you.

I cannot recommend You any WAP email gateway but if You have GPRS You can use it to connect ie. your laptop and use all the 'normal' software.

This may work if it were configured with your computer. I've never used it so I have no idea how well it works.

Well, I know I can do that but there are times when it is not really practical to carry my laptop with me besides it only last about 2 hours on battery power.
Not very practical when you are tracking the rainforest or out shopping.

Shelly, this looks interesting but I rather have it installed on the server itself.

How many people need this?
I could develop something that would do this. But I would need to see a demand.
If there is a demand post here and let me know.

I get my emails straight from my mailbox with my Sony J70. It's got no Java or GPRS. ;)

edwin,
I personally can not think of any reason, I would even want to look at a cell phone while in a rain forest. ( shopping maybe ).
I surf fish dead night durring storms, the last thing I want is a cell phone, I just want to enjoy the rain, wind, smell and lightning.
but cool that your trailing in rainforest. post a picture

Well, I always believe that a cell phone is important in inaccessible places. Of course, it would probably be use in terms of emergencies. Touch Wood :smash: If you are lost or injured at least you can call for help.
Personally, I cannot quite abandon my business when I am off for even more than a day. I would like to still be there for my clients if they require assistance. At times, it is impractical to carry my laptop so the GPRS/WAP Cellphone is sure a nice change. Although I need a break once in a while, I still do not want to abandon my clients, they are important to me. ;)
