Neo3Net 12-20-2002, 06:09 PM They most likely WON'T do it. clocker1996 12-20-2002, 06:23 PM no they wont ive heard of people some-how getting it installed though LOL lotuslnd 12-20-2002, 06:31 PM Yeah, I read a howto on their board on how to install Debian on your box. That's pretty insane, if you ask me. :) Cool though, but I wouldn't do it. I know I'd mess something up along the way. :) case 12-21-2002, 04:53 AM i think it would be great if rackshack offered bsd boxes , the worst thing they can tell you is no , or that maybe its coming soon?;) molex 12-21-2002, 04:58 AM check the rackshack forums there is a posting on how to do this. Rackshack though wont do it probably because they dont have the time and expertise BMurtagh 12-21-2002, 10:29 AM but since they won't install it, i doubt they'll even help you along the way. they don't even really help you with roothat let alone another OS. if you did mess up, their answer would most likely be, "$75 for a reformat." mripguru 12-21-2002, 05:30 PM RackShack does not do custom installs of ANYTHING, even their Red Hat 7.2 installs are standardized as they are all made from the same image. As for the pricing Brendan, it's $75 for a priority, $29 for a regular 24 hour restore. -- Jonathan |
