Hi,

I am looking for some voip solution just off the famous brands in the market. I do not have sophisticated requirements but the only requirement is that I want to install hard phone and the pricing should be just normal without compromising the quality.

What solutions will work?

Thanks.

You are looking to build your own solution to offer others? or you are looking as a user?

Hi,
Just curious.
If you are looking as a user, aren't those famous brand already providing what you are looking for ?
What exactly are the things you are looking for in others in comparison to the other brands. Just better prices or some specific features etc.

I think all being sip, you will be able to use the sip phone.

Yes the famous brands are there but their cost is quite high as well. I am looking for the low price solution. I have the Avaya phones and I want them configured by the services provider but there two more concern I am looking at that are about the OCS solution and Google's voice solutions....OCS can be a choice but Google voice the service is good enough but no connectivity to hard phones...

I am looking around the possible solutions with minimum cost and the major requirement is to have hard phone is place over VOIP.

If you are in the UK, have a look at Gradwell (http://www.gradwell.com/)

It looked like a scam when I first saw it but my oldman ended up purchasing two of these for something like 3-5 years. Was only a couple hundred (you DON'T need to prepay for years...) dollars and we both now have a phone right beside our PC (I have a set of 3 cordless phones throughout the house) with free long distance within North America!

Maybe that's something to consider!?
