Ok, ive been with vps.net for 2 days now, set up a cast control system set up secuity systems and everything is meant to be running fine and dandy, however ive had major issues with people being disconnected from the server network and getting 10054 issues. what's going on?

You may want to contact VPS.net as it's internal. If YOU know that you configured your shoutcast server right, then it isn't an issue on your end and you need to make sure that VPS.net has it right on their end. They are a good host so I'd imagine you should be able to get that worked out quickly and efficiently!

15004 error message is when an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. This normally results if the peer application on the remote host is suddenly stopped, the host is rebooted, the host or remote network interface is disabled, or the remote host uses a hard close.
You should check with your host.

Your first point of contact if something isn't working and you're sure you've configured it correctly should be your host, if not, then ask for help here :)
