I'm going to run a site based on vBulletin forums, with about 5000-10.000 visits/day and 50-100 concurrent users.
I'm going to try hosting because I have not many money tu pay a dedicated server, but it won't be able to run propertly :(
I think i could share a dedicated server with someone.
I dont need root access, only want about 500Mb-1Gb of disk space, 50 gb/mounth of trasfer and power to run all my database querys fastly :)
Anyone avaible?

You might try something like OLM's RSE shared servers. Although I havent used them to recomend, but I think they might fit your needs.

I have look at http://olmnetworks.com/ but dont understand very well... I see different monthly cost for a same service, how does this work?

What I'd pay depends on what exactly do u offer to me, I'm able to pay more than a good hosting plan, but less than a little dedicated server...
About the database, i need mysql (and of course php4).

Yeah, but you need 50GB of transfer. That is quite a lot. I am going to have a half empty dedicated server, but is not going to happen until the end of next month. I don't know if you can wait that long. ;)

30 days is a lot of time, but if it is a good offer I could wait ;). Please, infor me about the charasteristics of the server, of the other/s site/s hosted and of course of the money u want :)
I didnt say, but i'd like to manage some ftp accounts, create email accounts (about 10-30), if u have a free ip too (if not free ip avaible doesnt matter, but I have a domain) and preferablement a telnet/ssh account (to manage my database and some stuff of the site).

What exactly do you need? How what programs, what kind of access, what os, etc.? I would like to start a hosting company and I would like to maby split it or if splitting it is to much, we could work something out. Let me know what is required. Thanks

I need what i said on previous post, and mainly this:
A server that works fine with my relative intensive database use (5000-10000 visitors/day, and 40.000-80.000 pages/day with some querys on all pages)

The software doesn't mind to me, 'cause i dont want to admin the server :), but i need mysql, php4 and the usual stuff...
I need to manage some ftp accounts for updating the site by different people, and one telnet/ssh access for me (no root access, only the necesary to my site).
But i dont want to pay a lot of money, so please start talking about prices ;)

50GB is a lot of bandwidth and it is not cheap. 50 gb would cost me $137 per month alone!

On www.4webspace.com will have soon Cobalt RaQ3 with 100Gb of transfer for $99US/month. I know it is not a big server, but with a ram upgrade I think it could run fastly two sites like mine...

I did not want a Cobalt RaQ3 because it is not supported by our control panel software. Plus, the company I would like to go with offers merchant accounts as well and it is nice to have everything in one place. Bandwidth seems to be our problem here, and I cannot afford to pay $130 extra for 50 GB of data transfer.
