Theres why its so cheap. What happends if they are as bad as cobaltracks? Then you loose money.

i totally agree with lith.
imagine being stuck with a NON REFUNDABLE server running as slow as a 40KB/s because their network cant handle it.
Then again, we might be wrong, check to see if they offer a 30 day refund if you are not happy, many places will do that.

What's to stop you paying by credit card, and if they don't meet their promises, transfer away and repudiate on the basis that the service was charged for but not delivered.

true, but i really don't want to spend hours per day setting up mail, dns, apache, etc.. and then have continuous network outages...

Whch is exactly where I am with IQnection. Their service is lousy, they are a front for *****, and the network sucks. But I have days and days invested in the box.

If I do move, the contract won't stop me, though.

About 2 years ago I was with them with their $99 server deal. i did not have many problems with them. They did not provide a control panel or have very good docs. I did not have any trouble cancelling etiher, only took one email.

Probably someone could ask them ifd they would install plesk if their client can spend for license costs.
