After installing the Kernel update 4.0.1, my Raq3 was stuck in a continual rebooting loop because of a kernel error.
RaQ3-All-Kernel-4.0.1-2.216C24III.pkg
Anyone else have a similar problem?
According to 4webspace support (very prompt and helpful) it has happened to a few people. They are going to try to have Cobalt pull it. The date of the patch is April 25th, and I figured that it is a month old and must be safe. My mistake. I’m getting closer and closer to trying a Red Hat box with Plesk (my end users need a control panel).

That patch has been problematic for a small portion of the RaQ install base. From what I've read on the Cobalt mailling list, Cobalt currently suspects it may be due to an interaction between the new kernel and a recompiled Apache.

Here is everything that I've installed:
LogCheck
Portsentry
PM Firewall
SSH
Webalizer
CMU
Java (didn't work)
I never recompiled Apache, or installed PHP or MySQL or anything major. It must be pretty isolated, because I haven't seen any posts in the major Cobalt email list or BBS.
If anyone else has had a problem with this Kernel update, please post your results.
