Anyways to get to the point. I signed up for a normal account on international paypal(Canada). I have a debit card which I put in. (RoyalBank). WHen I try to recive money, as you all know, it asks for my credit card. I am only keeping my money online the paypal account, meaning I am only reciveing and sending money online, I am not transferring the money to my Debit Card. The problem is I don't think my Debit Card has a Visa or MC logo on it. WHat should I do? Please post only posts that could help in a way. If so post any recommendations or thoughts, or any other Payment systems that don't CC then please help. I am mostly interested in PayPal.

you could always try adding a bank account and withdrawing/depositing money to/from that.

That's what I did a Debit Card actually. But it has no Visa or MC on it. Unless I mis-understood you. Please be more clearly.

Once logged in click on the small navigation for "Profile" and Under Financial Information it says "Bank Accounts".

I did and I added a Canadian Bank Acocunt but you see the problem is that I can't recive money because my back account car doesn't have a Visa or MC print.

You dont' need any bank account card. As long as you have Routing number and Checking account number, you can send and recieve mone directly from/to your BANK ACCOUNT. Has nothing to do with a visa/mc logo.

I have savings can that work? Btw I did try that add Canadian Bank Account and I typed everything in but when I recive I think it stills need me to add a credit card. For anyopne who offer to help me completely and if I can actually get it you will get $10 quick cash. I can send it to you if I get it working. :)

I had to add an international bank account...and I too was pulling my hair out...just like you are now. Then...it struck me....send them an email through their support system. So I did...and 2 days later...it is all working and I just recieved a payment into my bank as well.

SEND THEM AN EMAIL....do you want me to shout that again?

Just a side note, i was in the same boat. You CANNOT withdrawl from your INTERNATIONAL bank account (cdn) into paypal. You can only do US Bank accounts into paypal. I have inquired about this about 10 times now, for the past year i believe and iv always gotten the same answer "were working on it".

Can't you get a US bank account at your Canadian bank? I live in Michigan and have friends in Canada that have US bank accounts, in Canada.

5. Follow the instructions (there is a Canadian check sample given)
6. PM me for my reward :)

If you don't have a check near you, run to your bank and ask them to give you personal checks. I don't know about Royal but TD will only mail the checks to you (they don't give the checks in the branch). If this is the case with Royal then ask them to give you the folowing informations:

1. Full Bank Name
2. Branch Transit Number (5 Numbers)
3. Institution Number (3 Numbers)
4. Your Savings Account number

Do you guys read my whole post? I have a DEBIT CARD SAVINS ACCOUNT WITH NOT VIAS OR MC LOGO ON IT SOE IT WON'T WORK so...no $50 for you. I will higher the price to $65.

you dont need MC or Visa logo on your debit card, If you have those logos then it will be a Credit card, not a debit card.
When somebody sends you money to your paypal, in order to accept them you either need to have a CC or bank account set, not both. When money arrives in your account you press accept button, then you press "accept without adding CC card" and money will be added to your account. In order for this to work, you need to set your bank account correctly, your name in the paypal account has to be the same name as the owner of the bank account.
I can set this for you, but you will have to give me all your bank account ionformations and you paypal login/pass and I don't want to take such a responsibility.

Once again, you don't need, and you can't have MC or Visa logo on your debit card except if that debit card is issued by the visa or MC.

Bizel I think your wrong. Look at the attached picture. I added a Back Account Savings and I did everything right. Maybe you should PM me or something wi ldetials or anyone eles can help. Offer now $70, for whoever helps me. THis is as high as it can get (This is CAD money).

So it seems to me you CAN'T really use PayPal when you're not from the USA unless you have a credit card.

yes I had this same problem, you need to ADD AN CREDIT CARD. Or you cant do anything. I had the same problem and once I added my CC. The payment went straight to my bank account :)

Well, I wasn't really after the reward, as the issue can't solved. I was just tired all those 'misunderstandings' ;)

Does your bank issue visa/mc branded debit cards? Maybe you could apply for one there? If not, how about just applying for a normal credit card, or a secured credit card if necessary? You could take your reward money as your deposit.

Of course, I'm no canadian, and I don't know what goes on up there...

I just tried to set one account with a bank account only (no cc) and unfortunately it won't work.
It seems like you can't use paypal without credit card. I did use that "help" link on their site and I found out that:

Q: Do I have to add my credit card in order to use PayPal?

A: Yes. As a security measure, your account will not be active until you confirm you email address, add a credit card and enter your Member Number.

Q: What is the advantage of registering a credit card with my PayPal account?

A: After you add a credit card and complete your PayPal membership, your account will be activated and you will be able to send money with your PayPal account.

You can't receive or send money until your account is activated, and in order to activate it you have to add credit card. I am sorry if my previous post caused some confusion, I should've checked it first.

Ask your bank for a Visa, and if you are not eligible yet, you can easily get 'secured' Visa with CIBC with 1000 CAD only (GIC 1 year). I hope this helps.
