Could someone please help me here. If you goto http://dor.wa.gov/apps/prd/prd_main.asp and search for you own business, tell me which if any of the numbers that show up match your UBI number please.

"License# / UBI# / Dealer#" Are all basicaly simular. The only reason they are called different things is due to the type of the business being licensed. It is simply a way of indentifying the business for tax purposes.

Well My Company doesn't have a UBI# it has a A.C.N. and a A.B.N. but of course doing a search, at those links produced nothing,

State Business Record Search Results
There is a total of 1,711,532 names in the database as of 12/1/02.

However mine wasn't one of them.

I think a UBI is only a license to conduct business in the State of Washington so it wouldn't be the same thing.

Well those sites listed above are certainly only for those registered in Washington.

Luckily the site I'm looking at is in Washington. I just don't know if the numbers it's showing me are the UBI number or not, it only takes a second if someone in WA could compare it to theirs.

ycram .. It gives you the choice of entering "organization Name" or UBI number.

Why don't you enter the number you was given and see what happens .. presumably if ios the UBI number it will return the corresponding Organization .. if you enter the wrong number you would end up with an error.
