Hi,
I want a solution to BAN an IP from connecting to the entire ports.
for example:
The noob come to play and he cheats, I ban his modem IP range from the server and he'll be banned from all the server.
Please don't reply with Fortguard becaus ethey ripped me off when I migrated my server with requesting more 500$ !!
Thanks.

i assume this is a dedicated server you are using? How many IP's are you looking at banning? if not many then you could look at implementing a host level firewall and drop all traffic from these IP's

Well based on that volume of IP's you want to ban you would defintiley want to get some managed system. Is this a Windows or Linux host?

i havent used this myself. There are quite a number of firewall applicances that might suit. If you are linux based then you could use webmin and iptables

do you have the ability to add a hardware firewall device? or will you have to run a software firewall on the host?
