Its really not worth it. I had it running for a little bit, it is a real pain.

FreeVSD is amazing for providing individual protected server environments for hosting. From an end users view point I've never seen anything as good.

Installation and maintenance do seem to cause most users a lot of problems though.

If you want to offer your customers bog standard hosting it's not for you. If they are after the ability to install their own packages, setup custom configs of apache, sendmail and have 'admin' access to the server then it's worth looking at.

If it hadn't been so complicated to setup and maintain I'd have been running it on our new servers. :-(
