My hosting company recently migrated to a new server and changed the nameservers. They do this every 2-3 years. Is this normal practice to do this every 2-3 years? It is fustrating for me cause both times they have done it they did NOT notify me.
Thanks!

Yes a good thing. But can't they just name the new server with the same nameserver as before and then point to the new IP address(es).

It depends on a number of things, but i dont see why not, It seams stupid if they dont.
