I have been in the process of setting up a PaySystems account but I am backing out and considering shelling out the big bucks for a merchant account, when I stumbled upon a message in which Tom from 2checkout stated that they are now passing your domain on the customers credit card.

I think this is awesome.

I stopped the PaySystems process because I read there contract which I received after paying set up fee. In the contract PaySystems wants the right to put whatever ad they decide on my customer's payment page.

This is so wrong.

Anyway with 2CO latest "merchant friendly" decision to add the company name to the descriptor, I think that this puts 2CO back into the running for my business.

Does 2CO display ads on their payment form?

Thanks,
Shasta

I use 2CO on many of my websites, and they dont put ads there. Some sellers may choose to put averts into thier payment screens using customer headers/footers, but that would be something that the individual user would do on thier own, not a blanket policy in place by 2CO.

No ads, but their CC icon used to link to a "get your own credit card now with ..." page. As far as I can tell that's been changed :)

Sincerely,

I've never seen an ad no their payment pages.

that would be wrong for too many reasons if they had put it on merchant's payment pages :(

hrm, I should email and ask about that. A popup for RackNine's hosting service on every checkout page. Wonder just how many hosts that would set off :D
