comeback 07-25-2010, 03:29 PM Hello
I only speak French sorry for my bad English.
I saw this ad:
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=963094&highlight=nvpn.net
I ordered Friday two VPN accounts.
When I use the VPN my speed drops from 3000 KB / S to 300KB / S.
Today, I contacted the support.
The support told me that I live in Europe. I had to take the server in Europe, but not the USA.
I demand change. The support refuses to change. The carrier says it is impossible.
I explain the support that I have used one account.
I explain the support that I have ordered that Friday. The support will not do anything.
I request to refund my money because it says on the website:
7 Day Money Back Guarantee
Support told me he can not reimburse me.
I think this is not very commercial.
I will ask my credit card to block the payment.

Like you care...
I'm sick of seeing posts like this.
If you did care, there would likely be more detail to your post and your signature would be HIDDEN, not showing that advertisement for VPN services.
That's just my opinion anyway, you will likely argue that I'm wrong.
Back on topic...
If they advertise a 7 day money back guarantee then there's no reason why at minimum they cannot return your money.
Did they give a reason why they could not switch your server locations though? I mean, it was their advise to switch locations so why will they not do that for you to keep you as a customer?
EDIT: I just noticed the $1/month pricing. That says it all ;)

They said that their conditions.
They do not change server.
I said that I ordered Friday.
They said it changes nothing....

They told me to repay only if the server does not work.
They told me I had to read the terms and conditions.
I have not found their terms and conditions.

I've just had a good search through their site and went through the order process (which just takes me to Paypal) but failed to find any terms and conditions myself too. Maybe I'm just missing something but I can't seem to find these terms and conditions on their website!
Perhaps it is best that you just move on from this provider and find a better one. They don't seem to be running their business very well but I'd like to see what they have to say here. I can see them just seeing this and then trying to correct the situation and offer you some compensation.. though it still may not be worth sticking with them after this confusion of missing terms etc which they then point to.

Last I checked, there was nothing wrong posting a reply on feedback of a bad service.
Thanks.

I can confirm this as well. I looked at the site and was stunned to not find any policies. Look at the address from that company, there is no street number and there is no Jackson ave in New Orleans. There is a North Jackson Ave and a South Jackson Ave. This is a very fishy provider.
The OP definitely made a mistake. If he would have browsed the website for a few minutes, he would have noticed that there is something wrong with this provider.

Yes, yes, I made a mistake.
The promotion ended Friday at $ 1. I wanted to hurry.
I contacted Paypal to block the payment.
sleziak 07-26-2010, 11:29 AM I have talked to the OP over LiveChat,
The OP asked for a server change. That is against our TOS.
=-=-=-=-=-=
Changing Servers
Due to abuse of our service we do not offer server changes (Eu -> USA and USA -> EU is also not allowed)
=-=-=-=-=-=
Also, a refund could not be granted because we offer refunds only if our service has been down / the client was unable to connect
=-=-=-=-=-=
Refund Policy
We do have a 7 day money back guarantee here at nVpn. However, due to abuse, we only refund if the service has been down or the client was unable to connect to our service (excluding network maintenance and hardware upgrades).

For those that couldn't find the TOS link, it's on the footer of every page.
The customer has been refunded for both his purchases and his accounts are now closed.
I hope this clears this case,
Best Regards

Oh dear. Don't try that one.
You say that the TOS link is in the footer as though it was always there. The fact is that you have just recently added this, after we had checked your website.
Although the cache may soon update, Google helps:
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:lzRzWq9qmTEJ:www.nvpn.net/+nvpn.net&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk
At the time of this reply, the cache shows a snapshot taken at 19 Jul 2010 03:46:54 GMT with no TOS link in the footer.
You've messed your customer around and the end solution was to brush them off for something they did not do wrong.
How could you even have expected for someone to follow your bull**** TOS when it couldn't be found anywhere on the website until you very recently added that link?
Good example of what is probably a bad provider from the way this was handled and the issues at hand

Perhaps there are no rules against it but anybody with a brain can tell that your post was nothing but an advertisement. ;) These posts happen every day in almost every topic like this on WHT. I usually ignore them but they're starting to bug me.
TailoredVPS 07-26-2010, 06:29 PM You should also notice that the domain's WHOIS information is set to private... any legitimate company wouldn't have anything to hide.

I ordered two accounts on Friday.
An account has not been used.
An account has been used three or four times for tests.
My speed went from 3000 KB / S to 300 KB / S.
It nvpn.net who told me that if I went on the European servers would increase my speed.
I talked to nvpn.net Sunday. Less than 48 hours after my order.

After seven days if the service does not work anymore you have no right to be reimbursed ...

I asked a complaint at Paypal to take me back my money.

Well, To be honest with you, nVPN isn't a real company, I've just started this for people on hackforums.com and hackhound.org.
I had a great success there so I though why wouldn't I post a thread here at webhosting talk. But it looks like it ran out of control ..
I never meant to register any buisness like nvpn or similar one, nVpn.net is just a payment processor for me so I don't have to manually create all the accounts that were bought from people from the above stated forums.
By the way, I have refunded you 2 days ago.
