I have obtained a new server from DV2 yesterday (Cpanel Included).

Now that I am looking into MySQL server I see that there are some users defined:

mafia_mafia
iamwebh_xmb1
iamwebh_xmb2
iam-webh
mafia_sffl
iamwebh_steph
iam-clan
iamclan_backup
iampro_clan
mafia_forum
iamwebh_denis
iam-pro
iampro_xmb1
iamwebh_scote
User
iamwebh_root
iamclan_root
iamclan_jeff
mafia

I hate to assume that this server is used by someone else before being delivered to me.

Which of these databases are used by cpanel/whm or other programs?

That's hilarious. I can't believe they didn't reinstall the OS after the last customer. Or maybe the server was compromised before you even got it?

I know if it was me, I'd insist on a format - full re-install and password change asap!

if it was a new server i think the onlt user would be the root user
